STATE GOVERNMENTS BANNED FROM SENATE'S SCHOOLS FUNDING INQUIRY

It’s reported today the Liberals have banned state and territory governments from appearing at a Senate inquiry into Malcolm Turnbull’s new policy that cuts $22 billion from schools.

State and territory governments run around 70 per cent of our nation’s schools. How can you have an inquiry into schools funding without speaking to them?

By banning state and territory governments from appearing before this inquiry, the Liberals are shutting out every public school in the country.  What have they got to hide?

It seems the reason the Liberals won’t let states and territories appear at the inquiry is because public schools are hit particularly hard by Malcolm Turnbull’s massive cuts.

You just can’t trust the Liberals with our schools.
