NBN Forum with Michelle Rowland MP

The National Broadband Network is the largest, most important infrastructure project in Australia’s history.

There is no doubt that the Liberals have stuffed it, doubling the cost and the delivery time.

For years members of our community have been sharing their frustrations about bad connections, missed appointments and reoccurring faults.

That's why I have invited Labor’s Shadow Minister for Communications, the Hon Michelle Rowland MP, to Sydney for a community forum in September.

This town hall meeting is an opportunity for me to hear from you about your concerns and frustrations with the NBN.

It is also a chance to hear from Michelle Rowland MP about the positive plans that Labor has to fix the NBN.

I would go however I’m in Brisbane. You need to take this Australia wide as this is a disaster of national proportions that needs to be effectively addressed. This issue is a vote changer for myself and many others and as such deserves proper attention.

    A comment from Whirlpool

“Then whoever plans to go, please make a video and upload it to YouTube so that those with non-msm coverage, can see what happened.”

    Can this be done?

    Cheers
    Denis

Unfortunately I cannot. I have an appointment with my SkinDoctor in Toowoomba early the next morning.

Will there be a transcript of the Meeting and audience comments and responses?

I live in Tenterfield, some 700km north of Sydney. And the NBN bastards have FttC to 3/4 of the town and swung around Fixed Wireless to the other 1/4. An Appeal to the Minister, through my local Member Barnaby Joyce, only resulted in the template response “bugger off”.

However, I have posted the above details on Whirlpool http://whrl.pl/RfebXp
