Protect Our Oceans

Minister for the Environment and Energy, Josh Frydenberg, has released new management plans for Australia's forty four marine parks, covering more than 3.3 million square hectares.

The Government’s plan is worse than we ever imagined and would gut Australia's network of marine parks.

This decision removes more area from conservation than any decision from any government in any country ever.

There has never been a step backwards in conservation area as large as this in any other country.

We must protect our oceans.

Add your name to tell the Liberals to stop their attack on our marine parks.

We need to clean up our act everywhere, more so in our ocean and environment than anywhere else in our economic interests. This may even be a better way forward for energy and create future job’s.

    Hi everyone

I have unsubscribed from many other emails but this one about the climate is something I don’t want to let go of.

All I have to say about the entire Government that we are suffering at present, which is how I felt about them prior to them being voted in. God only knows how.

They are all selfish, spoilt, greedy, mindless, insensitive creatures, that are all so smug, they don’t care about peoples our own country or the rest of the world, the planets animals, environments be it on land or the ocean. they are blinded by dollar signs, they really do live up to there parties name Coal – ition. clean of course, not the dirty variety.

And now they are trying to dissolve all of the conditions of protection for our continent and the planet, that has been put into place by people obviously far wiser than them.

Our marine parks are a vital resource to protect the health of our oceans and the wildlife that lives in them. Ocean environments are already under pressure from climate change, and it would be disastrous to remove protections when these ecosystems are already vulnerable.
